YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly (Since 1906) is a full-service conference center situated on 1200 acres of woodland beautified by mountain streams, wildflowers, ridges, valleys, and spectacular views."
This year, we will be at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, a full-service conference center in Black Mountain, NC, just 5 miles east of the 4-H camp location in Swannanoa, NC.

We are very excited about finding this camp. Yes, it will cost more to attend (moderate increase), but we're hoping that you'll agree with us that what we will get in return will be worth it. Here are a few highlights:

No more motels/hotels! Stay at camp. The 23-room Family Lodge (heat & air) includes rooms with two bunk beds (four beds; single mattresses), each with a private bath (bedding & towels are provided by the YMCA!). The lodge also includes a common area (crafts!), porch (singing!), as well as some kitchen amenities such as a sink, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Comfortable cabins! Each of the three 4-bedroom (8-person) cabins include a living room, full kitchen & table, and a single bath (towels & soap provided). They also have front and side porches. Full mattresses & bedding are also provided by the YMCA.

Great meals! All five buffet-style meals (Fri. dinner to Sun. breakfast) are provided by the YMCA in their super-sized dining facility. We will have an area set aside for our group. Upon request (which we'll do during registration), they will also accommodate folks with allergies and provide vegetarian entrees.

Dance hall extraordinaire! Their beautiful "dance" gym is actually on the second floor of an old historic building (main stair: 20 steps; back-door stairs: 8-9 steps). While this building does not include plumbing (restrooms are in the gym next door), the YMCA will provide water for drinking for our event.
